Savings Deposit Account
With two introducers, (must be account holders of the bank) the following accounts may be opened, individual account, joint account, corporate A/C (Private, Company, Corporations, Shopping Centres). Minor accounts may also be opened in the name of minor jointly with parents of legally appointed guardian.
At the age of 18 this minor account must be changed to either individual account or joint account, (jointly opened with the guardian).
All transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers can be operated from or to any Myawaddy Bank branches, service charges may be the same as remittance fees.
For all saving accounts, saving passbook will be delivered.
For every deposits or withdrawals saving passbook must be presented and for every withdrawals account holder must duly sign on the withdrawals form and withdrawals can be made by ownself of by proxy.
At the discretion of the account holder savings account can be linked to card account or current account and can make transfer transactions by giving a standing instruction to the bank.

Interest rate 7 %
Interest rate for saving account of corporate customers is 6.5 % per annum and credited to the relevant accounts every 3 months (Quarterly).
Interest rate for all retail accounts (individual/ joint) is 7 % per annum and credited to the relevant accounts every 3 months (Quarterly).
Monthly interest will be calculated on the daily minimum balance from 5th to the end of every month.
